    Saturday 25th - Tuesday 28th October 2025
  • Applications are invited from Suzuki violinists and viola players for a full-board residential course at Dunfield House in Herefordshire directed by Heather Clemson.                            (Cellists by invitation only)

    The course includes repertoire classes, orchestra, chamber music, ensembles, steel pan classes, solo concerts, swimming, football, 'pyjama torchlight' walk, midnight feast, 'Dunfield Festival', guided walks, arts and crafts, quiz, socialising, lots of food and the great outdoors.

    This is a very popular course which is always oversubscribed and applications for places will close when the course is full (usually by the end of March)                                            Some bursaries are available - please contact Heather Clemson (heatherclemson@hotmail.com) - all applications are treated in confidence

    • The course fee will be £395 per participating pupil and £395 per accompanying parent/guardian
    • A deposit of £100 per person is required to secure your places - payment details within the form
    • The balance of £295 per person must be paid before 1st September 2025 non payment means your place may be offered to someone on the waiting list.

    Dunfield accommodation is in dormitories of varying sizes from 2 to 10 beds.

  • Course fees

  • The course is non-profit making and deposits paid are non-refundable, except if Dunfield House has to cancel the course for any reason. Unless cancelled places can be filled, we risk having insufficient funds to cover the overheads to which we have to commit in advance based on numbers booked. For this reason, once accepted onto the course, if a place is no longer required, please let Heather Clemson (heatherclemson@hotmail.com) know as soon as possible. 

    No refund will be made for cancellations after 1st September 2025 except if Dunfield House has to cancel our booking. 

    Because of the dormitory arrangements, we cannot accept late changes to attending parents (male to female or vice versa)

    The course fee is:
