  • Southside Weightlifting Club Membership & Policy

    Welcome to Southside Weightlifting Club (SSWC)! By signing up, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

    1. Waivers & Health Forms


    Before starting any training, you must complete and sign the Consent/Waiver & Health Forms for safety purposes.

    2. Membership Payment


    All memberships and sessions must be paid in full upfront. We do not offer partial payments or transfers, and they are non-transferable, meaning they can only be used by the person who purchased them.

    3. Health & Injury Notification


    Notify us immediately in writing if you experience any illness or injury that may affect your ability to train safely.

    4. Class & Session Changes


    We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to holidays, weather, or other reasons. No refunds or credits are issued for changes nor transferrable.

    5. Late Arrival & Cancellations

    Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in denied entry or session cancellation without a refund.
    Always pre-book your session and notify a trainer if you have booking issues.


    6. Membership Holds


    You can place your membership on hold for medical reasons, travel (minimum 2 weeks - 14 consecutive days), or other special circumstances, up to two times a year. Notify us at least 7 days in advance.

    7. Cancellations

    To cancel your membership, submit written notice 2 weeks before the desired cancellation date (14 consecutive days). Please send email to infosouthsideweightliftingclub.com.au

    No refunds for remaining balances.

    8. Billing & Payment Issues


    Payments are processed via Square. Payments that fail or late will incur a $9.99 fee, and a 7-day grace period is provided to resolve the issue.

    9. Gym Etiquette


    Respectful behavior is expected. Violation of club rules or inappropriate coaching may result in termination of membership with no refunds.

    10. Private Training


    Private sessions are available to all individuals, not just members.

    11. Health & Safety


    Consult a physician before starting any exercise program, especially if you have existing health concerns. By participating in training, you assume all risks.

    13.  Photos & Videos

    I agree to allow Southside Weightlifting Club Logan, Inc, its agents, officers, principals, employees and volunteers to use picture(s), film and/or likeness of me for advertising purposes. In the event I choose not to allow the use of picture(s), film or likeness of me, I understand I must inform Southside Weightlifting Club Logan, Inc of this in writing and sent in via email. It is the sole responsibility of the parents/guardians to discuss this with their child/s and inform the club.

    14. Disclaimer

    Disclaimer - Southside Weightlifting Club is not a licensed medical provider. We strongly recommend that you consult with a physician before beginning any exercise program, particularly if you have any existing medical conditions. By engaging in training at SSWC, you acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and at your own risk.

    Health and Safety: While we provide guidance and expertise, the final responsibility for your health and safety lies with you. The information shared by our coaches is based on professional experience and qualifications, but it is not a substitute for personalized medical advice.

    By accepting these terms, you confirm that you understand the potential risks of engaging in physical activity and are prepared to assume these risks.

    Payments will take place weekly, unless another agreement is made with the Owner. 

    By siging this form, I have read and understood and provide the above realease, waiver and consent.

    I acknowledge that:

    - I am eighteen years of age or over, or if I am under eightenn years of age my parents or guardian is also required to read and sign this document;

    - I have read the SSWC Terms & Condition/Disclaimer agreement and understand my responsibilty;

    - Give consent for my training photo's or videos to be used for business prompotions on social media platforms & newletters.

  • Payment & Waiver Requirement for Booking

    To book a class, you must complete this form and make payment first—bookings cannot be made without completing these steps. Once you submit the form, SWC will be in touch with booking link. Access to any class will not be granted until your membership payment is finalized.
