Your Voice Matters! GSNEO Visioning Session for Camps and Service Centers

This year, we will implement a Comprehensive Master Planning process with our partners Brandstetter Carroll, and all GSNEO members – girls and adults – are invited to participate. Some of you may recall the last iteration of this process, which began in 2011 called “Vision 2020”. That plan was a critical roadmap to ensure that any big idea GSNEO wanted to implement fell squarely within the needs and wants of all our stakeholders, but especially our members. Since that time, we have spent over $26 million on new projects and rehabilitation, primarily at our camps, from infrastructure (like septic and fire suppression systems) to sleeping cabins and program centers (Stargazer Cabin, Chickadee Program Center, and Nar Yurt to name a few) and adventure areas (zip lines, rotating rock walls, high ropes, and more). Now it’s time to dream again and really ponder what generations of Girl Scouts to come will need to be the next generation of leaders of courage, confidence, and character. We invite GSNEO girl and adult members to participate in interactive discussions, hands-on exercises, and the chance to share your thoughts about the future of GSNEO camps and service centers.
