Welcome to Nature School! Trial days are free and run from the Brook Valley in Nelson, even though we're expecting to open up Wednesdays in Stoke for term 2. They help us get to know your child and see if it's a right fit, but most importantly it helps them know if it's where they want to be and they feel happy.
As your child will be coming along for the day, we're keen to get some basic information to better support them.

If you are not there and there is any medical concern, we are first aid trained and will call you straight away. We will also call you if they aren't settling in and want to go home.

Please inform us of any medicals, neurodiversity, extra support, dietaries, etc. Include if your child is impulsive, as this is important when managing risk in an outdoor setting. Feel free to also call us if it's easier.*
Please follow the "What to bring" list closely. It includes extra layers of warm clothes (it can get cold under the trees for hours), a very hearty snack&lunch (they'll get hungrier than usual) and water bottle. Togs are optional.*

- Please book the date you'd like to come along for or that has been agreed on over the phone. If we think it doesn't work, we'll email you. Wednesdays are in Marsden Valley, Thursdays are in the Brook Valley. We start from 30th April to 26th June in term 2.*
