A Savannah Scholar is an academically focused Chatham County high school student who seeks a successful path to and through a best-fit college.

Please complete this application to be considered for the 2026-2027 Savannah Scholar cohort.

Applicants must submit a complete application with all required documents by the deadline to be considered a successful applicant.

Before you begin, be prepared to submit the following documents with your completed application: (1) Report card (7th and most recent 8th grade), (2) Teacher recommendation, and (3) proof of household income information to nancybaker@savannahscholars.org.

Applications missing the required documents/information will be considered incomplete and will not move forward in the selection process.

Eligibility is limited to students who plan to pursue a four-year college degree and will be enrolled as 9th graders in Fall 2026. All students must attend a Chatham County high school (public or private).
