To attend KACHEA Co-op, registration to both KACHEA Co-op and KACHEA are required. KACHEA strives to make membership/registration as affordable as possible. Parental involvement supports our desire to meet the needs of our homeschool community as well. Therefore, we believe you will find KACHEA fees to be very accommodating. **Please be aware that registrations for Co-Op are NOT considered complete until ALL forms have been received, ALL fees have been paid, and ALL background checks are completed.**Registration fee: $35 per child, ages 0-12th grade.Background Check fee: $15 per parent/adult that will be teaching at (participating in) Co-Op. Parents/guardians are expected to remain on site and participate in Co-Op, either by teaching or assisting throughout the year and must have a completed background check on file. The only exception is High School students that bring themselves to Co-Op (see below). This is to remain in compliance with our legal and insurance requirements. If you and your spouse or other family member will be sharing Co-op responsibilities, then both adults require a background check. Optional Additional fees for High School:- Science courses: $12 per student, per year, per class they are attending.- Student-only (no parent attending or participating in Co-Op): $80 per student per year ($40 per semester), per class they are attending.Fee Limits: There is a $175 maximum per family registration fee, excluding the background fee, any late fee, and any High School science fees or student-only fees.Registration deadline: Registration is NOW OPEN and will close May 31, 2025. PARENT'T MEDICAL RELEASE AUTHORIZATION: My child is physically, mentally and emotionally capable of participating in a cooperative school with other students. I understand that during any of the classes there may be games that require physical exertion. While injury is unlikely, I understand that the possibility exists. I give my consent to have a doctor of medicine provide my child with medical assistance and/or treatment if necessary and agree to be financially responsible for reasonable cost of such assistance and/or treatment. - CODE OF CONDUCT Since KACHEA doesn't receive public funding, as a Christian Organization, we have the right to deny or revoke membership to any member who cannot agree with the following Code of Conduct: We believe in God’s plan, human sexuality is to be expressed only within the context of marriage. God created man and woman as unique biological persons made to complete each other. God instituted monogamous marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family and the basic unit of structure of human society. For this reason we believe that marriage is exclusively the union of one genetic male and one genetic female. This is a mandatory requirement to ensure the safety of all of members, especially children, who are attending Co-op.
