**Scholarship Award: $500**(2 recipients will be rewarded.)
ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
• Must have a minimum unweighted G.P.A of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
• Must graduate from a Florida: Duval, Clay, St Johns, Nassau, Baker County, or Georgia: Camden County (public or charter) high school at the end of the 2025-2026 academic school year.
• Must submit an Official Letter of acceptance to an accredited college/university or technical school on the institution’s letterhead
• Must submit two (2) typed letters of recommendation from individuals not related to you (i.e., Educators, Employer, Clergy, Supervisor of Volunteer Program, High School Counselor). Both letters must be hand-signed by the submitter.
• Must provide high school transcript
• Must submit a headshot photo
Must submit a typed, double-spaced 1-page 500-word MAX essay using 12-point Times New Roman font.
Applicant's submission MUST respond to the following topic:
Describe the significance of sisterhood and brotherhood in your life, and how these social relationships have played a role in shaping who you are today. Elaborate on any challenges you have encountered within these relationships and the strategies you employed to overcome them. Additionally, reflect on how your experiences and core values will influence your vision for your future endeavors. Lastly, discuss how receiving this scholarship will aid you in achieving your academic and career objectives.
The winner of the scholarship will be announced on or before May 8, 2026. The judges' decision will be final. The award will be disbursed to the winner upon receipt of written verification from an accredited institution of higher education confirming enrollment. A current class schedule may be required to verify enrollment.
All awards must be claimed within 18 months of the announcement date to remain valid. The Sorority will publish the winner's name and image on its website and social media pages.
Both you and your parent or guardian must complete, sign, and submit the scholarship application and media waiver, which permits the use of your likeness and achievements in promotional materials, no later than May 1, 2026, to ensure your candidacy is considered.
