Parking: Designated parking area marked with "Parking" signs
What to Wear and Bring — To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience, we recommend the following:
Wear:
- Comfortable walking shoes (closed-toe recommended) that you are okay with potentially getting muddy
- Sunblock and a hat for sun protection
- A light jacket or raincoat
Bring:
- A reusable water bottle.
- A camera or smartphone for photos.
- Bug repellent
By participating in the Farm-to-Table Breakfast, Fresh Fruit & Kombucha Tasting, and Farm Tour & Experience at Hāna Gardenlands, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk
- You understand that visiting a working farm involves inherent risks, including:
- Uneven terrain and tripping hazards.
- Interaction with farm animals that may bite, kick, or startle.
- Exposure to allergens (pollen, dust, animal dander) and insects.
- Potential hazards from farm equipment and machinery.
- You agree to wear proper footwear (closed-toe shoes recommended) and take personal responsibility for your safety.
Seasonal Produce Disclaimer
- Farm-to-table breakfast and fresh fruit offerings are based on seasonal availability.
- Hāna Gardenlands cannot guarantee that specific fruits or produce will be available during your visit, as our menu is determined by what is fresh and in season
Food Allergies and Dietary Restrictions
- You acknowledge that the farm to table breakfast, fruit tasting and kombucha tasting may include allergens (e.g., fruits, fermented products, and other ingredients).
- You agree to notify Hāna Gardenlands of any allergies or dietary restrictions at least 24 hours prior to the tour so we can make reasonable accommodations
- Hāna Gardenlands is not liable for allergic reactions or health issues arising from the consumption of food or beverages during the tour.
Release of Liability
- You hereby release Hāna Gardenlands, its owners, employees, and volunteers from any and all liability for injury, loss, or damage to person or property that may occur during your visit, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Personal Belongings
- Lock your car and do not leave valuables unattended. Hāna Gardenlands is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Photo Release
- You grant Hāna Gardenlands permission, for promotional purposes, to use photographs or videos taken during your visit.
Children
- Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who assumes full responsibility for their safety and conduct.
Personal Responsibility
- You agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the tour guide and to act in a responsible manner at all times.
Waiver of Claims
- You agree to waive any and all claims against Hāna Gardenlands arising from your participation in the farm tour.
Governing Law
- This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Hawaii.
Booking and Cancellation Policies
- Farm tours must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
- Reservations are subject to availability and are not guaranteed without timely booking.
Cancellation Policy
- Changes or cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
- A 100% charge will apply for all last-minute cancellations or no-shows (unless a medical emergency is documented with a doctor’s note).
Weather Policy
- Farm tours are rain or shine events.
- In extreme weather (e.g., flash flooding), Hāna Gardenlands will contact you to cancel. If you do not hear from us, the tour is still on.
- If you are not comfortable attending due to weather concerns, you must cancel at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a 100% cancellation fee.
Additional Terms and Conditions
- Gratuity is optional and not included in the tour price but is greatly appreciated by our farmers, who serve as your guides and service team.
- If you wish to add gratuity, it will be collected at checkout after your tour
- For groups of 6 persons or more, an automatic 18% gratuity will be added to your final bill unless otherwise requested.
Payment
- Credit cards are required to hold your reservation and will be charged at checkout for the listed tour price plus tax.
- You agree to give our secure online processing system, Card Connect with CardPointe, permission to save your profile and all associated cards at all locations.
- At the end of your farm experience with us, if you would like to process gratuities and additional purchases, you can use the same card on file or provide a new card.
Acknowledgment
- By signing below, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this waiver and release of liability.
