  • Conference Registration Information

    At least one (1) session presenter must be registered by April 25th. Any sessions without a registered presenter will be removed from the program at that time.

     

    Attendees may register for IMOBTS 2025 at DHBW Mannehim to be present physically or virtually. Virtual attendees will be part of a limited hybrid conference experience, interacting and engaging with sessions that are being presented both physically and virtually.

     

    All conference registrations include a one-year membership to MOBTS, one-year member access to MOBTS.org, a one-year subscription to Journal of Management Education (digital), and a one-year subscription to Management Teaching Review (digital) - a $55 value if purchased outside of conference registration.

     

    Conference registration for in-person attendance will include our customary MOBTS t-shirts and any other registration items.

     

    Prices are all-inclusive of events shown. International MOBTS registration rates do not include housing. Housing is not offered at most IMOBTS events and is not offered at DHBW Mannheim. We recommend you book a hotel in proximity to the campus. Click here for a Google Map of local hotels. Note that many of the hotels offered are located in downtown Heidelberg. While the campus is in Eppelheim, the local transportation system is exceptionally good and will get you in close proximity of the campus from Heidelberg. In 2022, the unofficial hotel of choice was Wohlfühl-Hotel Neu Heidelberg - Hotel Heidelberg.

     

    Guests may be added to the opening reception, wine tasting, and closing dinner on the registration form below. While not yet finalized, we may have pre-conference events offered much like 2022 such as a brewery tour, tasting, and meal. We will reach out when we have more information on that.

    IMOBTS 2025 at DHBW Mannheim will kick things off on Wednesday, June 25th with an opening reception of hors d'oeuvre and drinks on campus. This is not only a great way to meet and mingle, but to find your way to campus before sessions start the next morning! Following the reception it is customary for groups to disperse and head out for local food, drinks, etc.

     

    The general conference will run from the morning of June 26th through June 27th. Conference sessions will run in full both days. It is both customary and expected that attendees will participate in both conference days in full.

     

    The general conference will include a light breakfast, breaks, and lunch, as well as wine tasting (on campus) on the 26th and the closing dinner on the 27th. There is no planned dinner on the 26th as this is typically a "dinner on your own" with groups of attendees that desire to explore the area for dinner. We will assist in sign-ups for this dinner as we get closer to the conference. However, we will strive for the drinks and canapes to do a great job in filling you up!

    Conference session authors must register by Monday, April 25th. In-person attendees that wish to receive a t-shirt and any other registration items must register by this date.

    Please let us know if you will be attending the following events on the conference itinerary. Doing so will allow us to best prepare for your attendance and minimize unnecessary waste.

  • Will you be attending the opening reception at DHBW Mannheim on the evening of June 25th?
  • Will you be attending the wine tasting on campus on the afternoon of June 26th?
  • Will you be attending the closing dinner on the evening of June 27th?
  • Should MOBTS plan any pre- or post-conference events, would you be interested in joining? This may include tours, dinners, and so forth. Such events would not be covered in the conference cost; however, it would provide you experiential time with your conference colleagues! Select either if they apply to you, otherwise leave blank.
  • It is customary for MOBTS to provide conference themed t-shirts for each of its events. Please let us know what size t-shirt you would like.
  • Food Accommodatoins

    Please let us know of your meal preferences and food allergies here. We strive to select food options to accommodate such needs and will do our best to provide you with suitable meals. However, please be aware that it is up to you to double-check with dining staff as to what ingredients are in any particular dish. We apologize in advance, but MOBTS cannot cater toward more specific diets such as Kosher, Keto, etc. We will do our best to accommodate those that select Vegetarian and Vegan; however, please be aware that your selections may not be as plentiful as standard offerings.
