Your Personal Details
Your name and email address, address details and phone number will be stored by us so that we can process your booking, reply and correspond and to send you updates and marketing information. If at any point you no longer wish to receive these emails, please just let us know.
Attendance
You are agreeing to attend all sessions of the course you have chosen. We do not allow you to split your booking across two different courses and you must attend all live sessions and complete all self-learning in order to qualify as a Mental Health First Aider and be issued with your certificate.
If for any reason you are unable to attend the dates you have selected, either before or during the course, please get in touch with us as soon as possible to discuss your options.
Cancellation Policy
We take extra care at EDP to ensure a smooth running of our courses. To do this we need to confirm numbers. Cancellations and swapping course dates can interrupt the course numbers and cause extra admin costs. We are able to move you to a different course date a maximum of 1 time and only in exceptional circumstances. Alternatively, you may nominate another delegate to take your place.
The booking fee is considered non-refundable. If you do need to cancel for exceptional reason beyond your control, please be aware that this may be subject to an admin fee. Please let us know as soon as possible before the start of the course if you need to change your booking.
Online Courses
In order for the live sessions to work correctly, we require that each person joins via a separate login. We are unable to support groups of 2+ people joining live sessions via a single login and sharing a screen. If this should happen, we reserve the right to ask all additional (paid) delegates to join via separate logins or risk losing their place on the course at their own cost.
A paid place on the course is for a single participant. If any additional unpaid participants attempt to share a screen during the live course, we reserve the right to remove the original (paid) participant from the session without refund.
Course Availability
Occassionally it is necessary for us to cancel a course. We will always contact you immediately if this happens and in the first instance offer you a place on an alternative date. If you are unable to attend any of the other available dates we will offer you a refund.
