ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION
Restricted to undergraduate students pursuing a 4-year degree, interested in a career in wildlife and fisheries sciences, range and wildlife management, wildlife sciences, ecosystem science and management, or a related field.
Current full-time enrollment (or acceptance for graduating high school students) at an accredited college or university in Texas in a degree program related to wildlife management/conservation (see above)
Current cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
APPLICATION
Please use the following naming convention for each PDF file you submit below (for example: Smith_LetterofRec.PDF).
PERSONAL STATEMENT
Your Personal Statement should include a header with your name and the date. In 1,000 words or less, please tell us about your interest in wildlife conservation/management and how you hope to make an impact on the conservation of wild things and wild places in Texas.
LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
Your letter of recommendation should be on an official letterhead and specific to this scholarship, dated, signed, and include the telephone and email address of the person providing the recommendation. Please do not include personal references.
TRANSCRIPTS
Official high school transcript (only required if fewer than 24 college/university credit hours completed). Unofficial or Official College/University transcript (from all schools attended). You as the applicant are responsible for obtaining your transcripts and submitting them with the application.
Note: If you are selected as a finalist, you will be required to submit an official transcript prior to the award being made.
