The South West Sapphire League is available to all who have entered events at the SW Open Series meetings. Enter here for a chance to accumulate points and be in with the opportunity of becoming the regional Sapphire Athletics League champion for 2025!

The events covered for this year are;

Under 17 Age group

3000, 800, 200, 100, LJ, HJ, Disc, Shot, Jav

Senior Age Group

3000, 800, 200, 100, LJ, HJ, Disc, Shot, Jav

Masters events

1500, 100M, LJ, Disc

U11s

Kids Multi Challenge (KMC) or QuadKids

 

Athletes in the u15 and u20 age groups can enter the League by moving up an age group into the u17 or Seniors, however throws must be using the older age group weights/implements.

Masters results will be graded using the age group tables to determine best performances.

For 2025 the confirmed “South West Open Series” meetings are listed on our website www.sapphireleague.uk

The list will be added to as more meetings are confirmed.

You must have an official entry into the open meeting confirmed BEFORE you enter the Sapphire League.

Entry fees for individual Open Meetings are separate and paid at time of entry to the organising club.

For your performance to be eligible for the Sapphire League Rankings you must enter prior to the day of your first event. 

To be eligible for prizes, you must enter at least 3 of the Open meetings throughout the season.

League Fees are £10 for 1 event, £15 for 2 and £20 for 3. This is a one off fee and covers the whole season

Event Selection

Select all events you wish to be included in the Sapphire League.

You may enter a maximum of 3 events (with exception of u11s - KMC/Quadkids - which is classed as 1 event)

Before continuing to payment, please ensure you have only selected those events you wish to enter into the Sapphire League. Results/performances will be taken from official results as published on Power of 10

TERMS OF ENTRY

Only athletes who already have confirmed entries into the relevant Open Meeting are eligible for the Sapphire League ranking points.

If you enter the Sapphire League but not the Open meet, you will not be able to compete, and any fees paid will not be refunded.

We are also unable to refund any entries into the Sapphire League should you withdraw from the Open Meeting
