Participation Agreement - Commitment to Program Values:
✔ Willingness to engage in mentorship, boxing, and life skills sessions.
✔ Respect for program rules, staff, mentors, and other participants.
✔ Commitment to positive change, including staying away from gang activities during participation.

Final Approval Process: - Approval and Interview Requirements:
✔ All applicants must be approved by TJ Sheehan, Founder of Gloves Not Guns.
✔ A short interview may be required to ensure the participant is a good fit for the program and understands the expectations.
✔ The interview will assess the youth’s readiness to engage, their motivation for change, and how GNG can best support their goals.

Exceptions (For Special Consideration):
✔ High-Risk Youth not yet charged but identified as at-risk of justice involvement (must be reviewed and approved by GNG leadership).
✔ Voluntary participants with past charges who demonstrate ongoing risk and could benefit from continued support.

This checklist ensures that Gloves Not Guns remains focused on supporting justice-
involved youth while providing clear criteria for referrals, participation, and ongoing
engagement.
