    About MOMENTUM:
    The 25th Annual MOMENTUM exhibition, happening on March 27–28, 2026 at The Yale Theater in Calle Dos Cinco, is a dynamic exhibition shining a spotlight on the innovative talent of young artists. The exhibition illuminates the creativity of visual artists ages 30 and under from across Oklahoma, providing a captivating glimpse into the state’s vibrant and diverse art scene while providing mentorship and skill-building.

      • Pay What You Can Hours | 1–4pm
        • Low-Sensory Experience
        • Artist Talk with Curators and Spotlight Artists, Kayla Anley, Mack Brim, and Nayelly Morales Rojo
      • Main Event | 7–10pm
        • Live performances throughout the night

    Live music by Santiago Ramones. Plus, print-making activities throughout the weekend provided by Firehouse Art Center.

    Perks:

    All volunteers will receive two FREE weekend passes to the event ($50 value).

    • Gallery Walls Set Up 
    • About this Shift:

      • Assist with gallery wall set up.
      • Help organize event layout & lighting.
      • If you have extra tools and/or a ladder, feel free to bring them!
      • Skilled laborers will be on site for heavy lifting and construction needs.

      • Assist with event decorating.
      • Assist OVAC team as needed.

    • About this Shift:

      • Experience with installing artwork is required to sign up for this shift.
      • Help organize wall lighting.
      • Assist with artwork installation and set up.
      • Assist OVAC team as needed.
      • If you have an extra drill and/or a ladder, feel free to bring them!
      • Skilled laborers will be on site for heavy lifting and construction needs.

      • Check in and direct incoming MOMENTUM Volunteers
      • Check in MOMENTUM Artists
      • Check in will call guests and give wrist bands (if needed)
      • Be a hub for informational questions about the event
      • Pre-Event training on the OVAC Event Platform, Auctria, is required. *Past OVAC Volunteer experience preferred.

      • You can expect to be mainly seated for your entire shift. You may be asked to escort volunteers to their appropriate posts.

      This volunteer shift requires pre-event trainings on OVAC's ticketing platform, Auctria. If you wish to sign up for this shift, keep an eye on your emails for pre-event trainings on the platform. You should receive instructions via email about two weeks before the event.     • About this Shift:

      • Encourage and assist guests with purchasing exhibition artwork.
      • Answer questions about the art and artists as well as OVAC's
        fundraising goal and mission.
      • Roam the gallery space to moniter safety of artwork.
      • Mark sold pieces with a red sticker on the label QR code.
      • Volunteers should familiarize themselves with the MOMENTUM artists and their work prior to the event.

      Activity Level:

    • About this Shift:

      • Encourage Silent Auction & Wish Wall sales.
      • Assist guests in participating in the Silent Auction.
      • Assist guests in participating in purchasing donations from OVAC's Wish Wall.
      • Pre-Event training on the OVAC Art Sales Platform, Auctria, is required.
      • Serve as a MOMENTUM tote bag pick up location

      • Photograph event attendees in casual and posed settings using provided image list.
      • OVAC can provide up to two (2) cameras during a volunteer shift. Having your own camera is great too!
      • Artists will upload content to shared Google Drive following event.
      • All photographs will be credited when OVAC uses the subsequent photography collected during the event.
