McConnell Scholarship Program is open to all high school seniors and undergraduate college students who are enrolled in an accredited college or university.

Hixson United Methodist Church Scholarship Program is open to any high school senior or undergraduate college students who are enrolled or plan to be enrolled in a United Methodist College or University.

PLEASE NOTE: To apply you must be a member of Hixson United Methodist Church AND have School/Community/Church Involvement.

Following the above guidelines, students must submit an application & essay each year. It is not an automatic renewal.

Please answer each of the following questions with a one-paragraph response. (One response for each question)

PERSONAL INFORMATION

1. Write an essay (min. 200 words & max. 500 words) on the following: Our Church's mission is: Partnering with God to transform the world by offering HELP, HOPE, and HEALING through Jesus Christ. How do your plans for the future, including your course of study, demonstrate your continued commitment to this mission regardless of your location? (Content, grammar, and punctuation will be considered.

2. Upload a recent photo of yourself
