  • About Dr. Nomin Groves

    Dr. Nomin Groves earned her DDS degree from China Medical University in 2008, achieving Dean’s List honors every year. After two years practicing as a general dentist, she moved to Japan to complete her PhD ahead of schedule. In 2013, Dr. Groves joined the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland, where she treated patients with rare dental conditions, conducted research on tooth regeneration, and promoted evidence-based dentistry. She later completed advanced Endodontic specialty training at the University of Washington in Seattle, becoming a skilled root canal specialist

  • Course Description

    This presentation provides a structured overview of the biological and technical causes of root canal treatment failure and outlines an evidence-based approach to case assessment. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how to differentiate indications for nonsurgical retreatment vs. apicoectomy through systematic diagnosis, radiographic interpretation, and clinical decision-making principles.
