  • RESIDENT PARKING PERMITS

    Resident Parking Permits allow residents who reside on designated side streets to park within Resident Permit Parking Zones which are reserved for permit holders only from May 1st through October 1st of the issued year. Upon providing proof of residency, driver’s license, and vehicle registration/s, a maximum of two (2) permits will be issued per household/unit; each vehicle’s registration will be required at the time of application and permits will be issued to the applicant and vehicle, if only one vehicle/registration is possessed, one permit will be issued. Tenants/renters and property owners do not each receive permits, a maximum of two (2) per household/unit total. Per Sea Bright Borough Ordinance 201-33, Residential Permit Parking is designated on the following streets. Only households/dwellings located on the following streets are entitled to permits:

    Beach Street, Beach Way, Center Street, Church Street, East Church Street, East New Street, Front Street, New Street, Normandie Place, (Only Normandie Place addresses - NOT Ocean Avenue Addresses backing up to Normandy Place,) North Way, Peninsula Avenue, River Street, South Street, Surf Street, Via Ripa, and Waterview Way.

    • Residents may park on the street, in front of their driveway, if a valid Resident Parking Permit is displayed.

    • At no time should a vehicle be parked so to obstruct the sidewalk.

    Resident Parking Passes are intended for use by Sea Bright Residents and Permit Numbers are specific to the resident and their vehicle/s. The sale, duplication and/or distribution of any Sea Bright Borough Parking Permit is prohibited and may result in revocation of all household/individual’s permits for a period of three years and a fine up to $300.00 per incident

    ***IMPORTANT***

    Please place Permit Hanger on the vehicle’s interior rear-view mirror with permit number facing out and clearly visible. The Sea Bright Police Department is not responsible for any violations issued in which a permit was possessed but not clearly visible as described above.


    ***LOST AND STOLEN PERMITS***

    In the event a permit is lost or stolen, the resident to whom the permit was initially issued must respond to the Sea Bright Police Department and make a formal report with an officer. The lost or stolen permit will be voided through our internal system and will no longer be valid for parking purposes.
