Our United Way seeks to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our communities to advance the common good. Our efforts are directed by carefully studied Focus Areas and Strategies that target the most pressing needs in our area. Please keep in mind the following as you complete this application:
- Your agency's 211 listing must be updated prior to submitting your application. For Allegany County, visit IHS's 211; for Cattaraugus County, contact 211 WNY.
- Funding decisions will be based on projected outcomes, previous accomplishments, and the information provided in this application. It's essential that you answer all questions - incomplete applications may not be considered.
- Be as detailed as possible and use DATA to support your answers.
- Applications will only be accepted for programs in either Allegany or Cattaraugus counties. If your project is for both counties, you'll need to submit two separate applications.
