Student Acceptable Technology Use Policy
Purpose and Expectations
At SSPP, technology is an essential tool for education, offering students access to a vast array of resources that support learning and academic growth. To ensure that all students use technology responsibly, ethically, and in alignment with SSPP’s values, this policy establishes clear guidelines for acceptable use.
Students are expected to use both school-provided resources and personal devices in a reasonable, efficient, ethical, moral, and legal manner. Technology use will be monitored by teachers, but students are ultimately responsible for following guidelines and will be held accountable for misuse.
Privacy and Monitoring
Computer storage areas and digital accounts are considered extensions of student lokers. As such, school administrators may review files, communications, and activity at any time to maintain system integrity and ensure compliance with SSPP’s policies.
All assigned passwords must be kept confidential and should never be shared with other students.
