  • Registration and Cancellation Policies:

Registration is confirmed by payment of a non-refundable class fee.

MSA does not offer refunds or credits for classes/lessons missed due to student absence/non-attendance, inclement weather or similar circumstances.

The schedule is subject to change or cancellation based on enrollment. Students will be contacted 24 hours prior to the beginning of a class  if a cancellation is deemed necessary due to low enrollment. A refund for any fees paid will be issued.

MSA will abide by government health guidelines and therefore classes may be in person, virtual or a mixture of both at any point during the year. Tuition will not change based on any changes to in person status deemed necessary in order to comply with CDC and VADH guidelines at time of class.

MSA will not be liable for any special or consequential damages, whether direct or indirect, for any wrongful debit to an account.  MSA reserves the right to cancel and terminate this agreement at any time.
  • TERMS & CONDITIONS

    CARE OF STUDENTS

MSA operates as a “Come and Go” facility.  Students may arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before the start of class and must be picked up no later than 15 minutes after the end of class.

Please label all clothes, shoes, bags and other personal belongings with your student’s name and leave expensive electronics, jewelry and other valuables at home. MSA is not responsible for lost or misplaced/missing property

    ATTENDANCE & TARDINESS

MSA reserves the right to ask students to observe class when arriving more than 10 minutes late.

    STUDIO DRESS ATTIRE

To provide the most professional experience for your children we ask that students adhere to the dress code provided for camp or class. Hair must be worn off the neck and out of the face for all classes. Students attending ballet classes and ballet camps are required to wear their hair in a bun.  A $5 bun kit will be provided, if necessary,  and charged to the account on file.

    PHYSICAL CORRECTION POLICY

Dancing is a physical skill and in order to help and facilitate the student's learning the teacher may need to physically guide a movement by touch. Touch promotes kinesthetic learning and can produce a quicker response to correction than other teaching tools.

    PHOTO RELEASE

The Metropolitan staff may take photographs or videos of students, individually or in groups, attending or taking part in classes, programs and events. These photographs or videos may appear in Metropolitan’s own or other publications, on our website, on social media or in other publicity. Students and/or participants consent to having their photograph taken (or such videos shown) and used for such purposes. Should any publication request to identify the student, Metropolitan will contact the parent for consent.
