  • Participant Agreement Form for Travelers Attending The Marriage Design in Israel May 27 - June 7, 2026

    1. Early Mornings - We will begin each day with a wonderful breakfast at the hotel. Our guide, Moshe (MOE-shay) will let us know the evening before what time breakfast begins and what time the bus must be boarded for each day's schedule. It is important that all participants are ON TIME and ON THE BUS at the designated times. As we are traveling as a group, we are unable to wait for those who are late.

    2.Bus Etiquette - Both our guides and leaders will use bus time to teach, pray, and

    give instructions. Please be courteous of other travelers and do not speak while our guide or leaders are speaking. We want everyone to be able to hear and learn

    3. Our Israeli Staff - Our guide and drivers in Israel are Jewish or Muslim (religiously and politically Generally, Israelis and Americans get along and are viewed as allies. As they spend quite a bit of time giving tours to Christians, they grow weary of being "witnessed to." Please let your actions and speech convey the love and compassion of Christ without a need to proselytize to them. 4. Lunch time - Everyday close to 1 pm, we will have lunch as a group at a restaurant recommended by Moshe. One day, in Jerusalem, we will have lunch at Machane Yehuda Market where you will be responsible for the cost (~$20 per person You can also shop at the Market during our time there. You may bring prepackaged snacks on the bus. There will also be cold bottled water available on the bus for $1. The tap water in Israel is fine to drink, SO you may bring a water bottle to fill and

    5. Hotels - Moshe has chosen three incredible hotels for our trip, with each one offering different amenities (such as free Wi-Fi, pools, gyms, rooftop overlooks, etc On the Sabbath (sundown Friday through sundown Saturday) some amenities may not be offered or available.

Passport - Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after our return date (December 7, 2026 Please either leave your passport in the hotel safe, on your person, or you may leave it on the bus while we are touring. 7. Baptisms - On day 6, you have the opportunity to be baptized in the Jordan River. If you choose to do so, the cost is approximately $15 per person. You will be given a towel and a white tunic that must be worn over a bathing suit. There is a changing room available. You might want to wear water shoes, as there are tiny fish that enjoy nibbling your toes. The Marriage Design Leaders will baptize those who are interested, or you and your spouse can baptize each other. 8.Group Etiquette - On this trip, we are touring and moving as a group. Because of this, it is important you stay with the group and do not wander off, lag behind to get photos, or move at a slower pace. We have made every effort to structure our days SO the group can be engaged, learn together, and take it all in. We want our participants to be safe and enjoy the experience. We are sharing a beautiful pilgrimage through Israel that will bond the group together as only the Holy Spirit can. Please be mindful of your fellow travelers and place the group needs above

    your own. 9. COVID-19 - If necessary, we will follow Israel's COVID-19 rules and regulations on

    10. Trip Purpose - First and foremost, this is a teaching and learning experience for each individual participant. It is a once in a lifetime experience to learn about the Bible in Israel. Second, we hope that by sharing this deep spiritual experience, your marriage will be strengthened and enriched in a beautiful way. Finally, there will be opportunities to spend time with other attendees in fun meaningful ways. 11. Representatives of Christ - Let us be imitators of Christ (1 John 2:6 Let us be respectful, kind, and honor one another. Please be mindful of the group etiquette at all times. Please limit yourself to no more than 1-2 servings of alcohol per meal, as we will be in an unfamiliar area and desire to represent both Christ and America well. Anyone who participates in illegal activity, drug use, or unacceptable behavior will be released from the tour and will be headed home at their own expense.
