Y4 MedTech Initiative: Global Accelerator Application Form FY2026

The information provided within this application will be treated with the strictest confidence. It will be used only by Brisbane Economic Development Agency, the global facilitator Life Science Nation, and the aligned experts in residence to assess applicant suitability and to provide further tailoring to the syllabus to benefit cohort participants, measure economic impact, and to shape the future aftercare requirements. CRITERIA

Applicants identify as early-stage MedTech venture:

1. A commitment to participate in all phases of the accelerator including the aligned "In-Person" global travel commitments.

1.1 An agreement to cover all associated expenses aligned to the global travel requirements of the accelerator with a commitment for a company representative (Founder, CEO or C level executive) to attend J.P. Morgan Healthcare Week 2026, San Fransiciso, USA.

2. Early-stage venture looking to fast-track commercialisation by securing funding and / or strategic partnerships.

3. Represents novel research and innovation that has been translated and commercialised (revenue or pre-revenue), including intellectual property, proof of concept, and secured seed funding.

4. Operations or Head Office located within the Brisbane LGA.

4.1. If your business does not have an HQ or office based in Brisbane City Council's Local Government Area, please detail how your company utilises, interacts, or impacts this region in your application form.

5. Participants should be Founders or CEOs with optional support from other C-level executives or leadership roles;

5.1. A dedicated team with the ability to implement global investment strategies and solutions or the ability to build one.

6. Actively seeking funding and / or strategic partners with an ambition to execute a global funding campaign / roadshow.

7. A commitment to participate in the three-year period of aftercare support and confidential reporting via annual survey.
