    • Attach a 350 - 500 word essay in which you choose one or all of these topics: significant life experience, expand on your community service and/or discuss your goals and how you plan to reach them. You may also include any important information that you would like for the reviewers to know about you, including your accomplishments.

      A transcript and two (2) letters of recommendation must be included.

      Two letters of recommendation from teachers, mentors, or community leaders (may not be from a family member).The letters of recommendation must include the contact information (name, title, email address, phone number) of the person making the recommendation.

    • Miller-Waters-Fenty Talent Scholarship:

      Please upload your performance (dance, drama, vocal music, instrumental music, film) or provide a link to your online portfolio/website for review by the committee.

    • Applicants should upload their performance (dance, drama, vocal music, instrumental music, film) in one of the following formats: MP4, MOV, MP3, PDF, or JPEG, or provide a link to their online portfolio for review by the committee.

      • Videos (MP4, MOV) – Up to 500MB - 1GB (for high-quality performances)
      • Audio (MP3, WAV) – Up to 50MB - 100MB
      • Documents (PDF) – Up to 10MB - 25MB
      • Images (JPEG, PNG) – Up to 5MB - 10MB
