Are you an accredited QLD coach passionate about working with primary and secondary school students to grow awareness and participation in Table Tennis in QLD schools!?
As part of the QLD Active Industry Participation Program, TTQ is excited to be building on the relationship with over 30 schools around Queensland by delivering an in-school Pathways to Participation program. This program is designed to engaged school-aged students in table tennis through accessible, fun and supportive introductory sessions.
The Pathway to Participation Program is seeking enthusiastic coaches to join a pool of qualified individuals who will be delivering table tennis coaching sessions in schools across Queensland. Coaches will work during school lunch breaks, providing students with an introduction to table tennis through structured lessons.
Program details
- Session Size: up to 15-20 students per session
- Location: Schools across Queensland
- In-school Session Delivery: 45min - 1hr
- Coaches will be provided with lesson plans and an equipment kit
Requirements
- Minimum TOPS level coaching accreditation
- Current Blue Card
Compensation
- Attractive per session rate
- Travel reimbursement for travel in excess of 100km
Key Responibilites
- Deliver high-quality table tennis lessons to students during or after school hours
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
- Adhere to provided lesson plans and utilize equipment kit provided
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students at all times
- Report back on session progress and outcomes as required
