As the voice of European neuroscience, FENS represents a community of over 22,000 scientists and 40 neuroscience societies. Our four key impact areas are described in the 2024-2028 Strategic Plan and include: facilitating knowledge exchange; advancing neuroscience; empowering community; and investing in the future. Credibility, inclusivity and sustainability are the FENS core organisational values.
Through its Affiliates, FENS provides a forum for ongoing dialogue, information exchange and collaboration with philanthropic, educational and corporate partners globally. FENS Affiliate status is open to foundations, companies or other entities that wish to work with FENS to support its mission in Europe and globally. FENS Affiliates are not members of FENS but entities who seek a closer and more formal relationship with the federation based on common interests, priorities and values.
FENS Affiliate status is defined in the FENS Bylaws and is subject to approval by the Executive Committee after consultation with the Governing Council. The terms and conditions of FENS Affiliate status are flexible and are determined on a case-by-case basis by the Executive Committee.
Thank you for your interest in becoming a FENS Affiliate. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact office@fens.org. We look forward to receiving your application.
