Project Information

We are looking for people who live, work or study in Islington to be part of a fun rehearsal process, working with a professional team to make and perform in a new play that will be performed at the Almeida Theatre in August 2025.

The play is the second part of a trilogy that celebrates Islington’s communities, looking at key moments in our lives: celebrations, rites of passage and moments of change.

You will have the opportunity to take part in some group activities, games, and exercises, meet some of the team and ask questions. You won't need to prepare anything in advance, and you do not need any experience to attend the audition or be a part of the project.

There are around 25 places available on the project – and we will be looking for a mixture of ages, experience levels and an ability to commit to weekly rehearsals and performances.

KEY DATES
Rehearsal Period: Thursdays 7-9pm and some Sundays between April and July 2025
Intensive Rehearsals: A Mixture of Saturdays and Sundays from 27 July 2025
Tech, Dress Rehearsal and Performance Week: W/C 18th August 2025
