2026 First Friday Registration
  • 2026 First Friday Art Walk

Planning is underway for First Friday Art Walk! These monthly events highlight the artists, galleries, and maker spaces of Silverton's historic business district and encourage people to shop local with fun monthly themes and an eclectic mix of activities!

    Event Dates: June 5 - July 3 - August 7 - Sept 4
    Event Time: 4 - 7 pm

We encourage shops to offer and promote special activities and attractions during First Friday, as this helps increase interest and boost foot traffic to your store!

    Examples include:

    • Art Demonstrations
    • Craft Activities
    • Opportunities to "Meet the Artist"
    • Live Music
    • Food & Drink
    • Restaurant Specials
    • Art Walk Discounts
    • Sidewalk Sales
    • Book Signings or "Meet the Author" Events
    • Any Other Creative Ideas You Dream Up!

SCD obtains a permit that allows participating businesses to conduct sidewalk vending/activities during First Friday events.

If you plan to serve alcohol at your shop and are not normally licensed to do so, a Gallery Permit must be obtained through the Town of Silverton. We recommend starting the liquor license process 60 - 90 days in advance. Please contact Town Hall for details.

Restaurants are welcome and encouraged to participate by offering appetizer or drink specials in conjunction with the event.

First Friday is promoted through print and digital ads, online event calendars, wayfinding signage around town, and print and digital maps. New this year, we will create a single map for the entire summer season.

Participating businesses can pick up a flag to hang outside your shop on event days, as well as printed maps at event headquarters - The 9318 Collective (1212 Greene Street).

To sign your business up to participate in this year's First Friday Art Walk, please fill out the form below.
