OBJECTIVE

Good Hands Home Care is a recognized non-medical in-home care agency serving mid-south. Coming from disadvantaged backgrounds, the owners tremendously benefited from alumni and local scholarships to help fund their college education. In turn, this allows them an opportunity to pursue their dreams. The (GHHC) Scholarship Program offers awards up to $500, a non-renewable scholarship recognizing graduating high school seniors for academic achievement. It provides financial assistance to help deserving students accomplish their future educational goals. The GHCC does this in recognition of the continuing need to promote higher education for future generations.
AWARD CRITERIA
- Applicant must be a graduating high school senior in 2025
- Applicant must reside in the following TN counties – Shelby, Fayette and Tipton
- Applicant must attend an institution of higher learning
- Applicant must have an acceptance letter from an institution of higher learning
- Applicant must have a financial need
- Applicant must have an academic grade point average of 2.5 or higher
- Applicant must have provided service to their community
- Application must be submitted on the current Scholarship Form
  Incomplete applications or submissions that do not follow the submission criteria will not be considered for evaluation
- Applicant must include two letters of recommendation from:
  High school principal, academic dean, or guidance counselor and
  A high school teacher
