2026 Fully-Funded Recording Residency Application

About the Fully-Funded Recording Residency

This residency is open to a duo or a trio that will be recording their debut EP or album and will include mentorship throughout the process, at no cost to the artists.

Requirements for applicants to the Fully-Funded Recording Residency

Members of the group must be 21+
The group must be a duo or a trio
Have a debut EP or album's worth of material ready to record
The full group must be available for the entirety of the residency

Things to Keep in Mind Before Applying

The barn does not have sonic isolation. The birds and the whims of the natural world around us may be heard on your recording
Overdubs are possible but adding to already existing tracks is not the best use of the space
There is no piano in the barn
The group will communicate with audio engineer, in advance of their residency, to work out the details of their session
Includes one day of the residency week for mixing
You will need to bring your own hard drive for your recording session
Includes an honorarium

Hospitality

A private bedroom in the Farm House (with a shared bathroom)
Three meals a day
High speed fiber optic internet in the Farm House
The barn has no wi-fi or cell reception
