School Holiday Program

Thank you for your interest in join us for a fun-filled April School Holiday Program!

We have a variety of activities organised that celebrate our local businesses to help us fundraise for our very own set of Montessori learning materials!

Currently, we are kindly loaning materials that will need to be returned soon, so this fundraiser is an important step toward ensuring our students continue to have access to the resources they need.

Each day, we have two organised activities for children to enjoy from local businesses, and around these, they can:
🎲 Play board games
🎨 Draw and paint
🌊 Play on the beach and swim
🌿 Explore the reserve & playground

It’s a great way for tamariki to stay engaged over the holidays while supporting their learning environment.

Nīkau School Holiday Program – Terms & Condition

1. Program Enrollment & Fees

• All participants must be registered in advance. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure a place in the program.
• Fees are non-refundable unless the session is canceled by Nīkau School.

2. Supervision & Safety

• The program is run by qualified teaching staff who will ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
• Children will be supervised at all times, including during activities at the beach and reserve. Water-based activities will only take place under strict supervision, and children must follow all safety instructions.
• Parents/guardians must inform staff of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs at the time of registration.

3. Drop-Off & Pick-Up

• The program operates from 8:30am-4:00pm. Children must be dropped off and picked up on time.
• Only authorised adults (as listed on the registration form) will be permitted to collect children.

4. Behaviour & Participation

• All children are expected to follow the program rules, show respect for others, and participate in activities in a positive manner.
• If a child’s behaviour becomes disruptive or unsafe, parents/guardians may be contacted to collect their child early and no refund will be issued. 

5. What to Bring

• Children should bring a packed lunch, water bottle, hat, and sunscreen.
  For beach/swimming days, please pack appropriate swimwear, a towel, and a change of clothes.
• Nīkau School is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

• No refunds or credits will be given for absences due to illness or personal circumstances.
• If a session is canceled by Nīkau School (e.g., due to weather or unforeseen circumstances), families will be notified as soon as possible and offered a rescheduled session or a refund.

7. Consent & Liability

• By enrolling, parents/guardians agree that their child may participate in all planned activities, including outdoor exploration and supervised water play.
• Nīkau School and its staff are not liable for any injury, illness, or loss of property during the program.

By registering for the holiday program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
