  • About CWAJ

    The College Women’s Association of Japan, a volunteer service organization, supports women through education, arts, community, and friendship. Founded in 1949, our primary mission is the provision of scholarships that are funded by both donations and proceeds from the CWAJ Print Show. The Print Show is an internationally acclaimed annual exhibition and sale that promotes contemporary Japanese print art. CWAJ serves the community by providing educational services for children and adults, including innovative programs for visually impaired individuals. CWAJ offers opportunities to engage in meaningful volunteer projects, to participate in cross-cultural events, and to make friendships with women from around the world.

    Donate to CWAJ Scholarships

    With the generous donations and in-kind sponsorships, CWAJ awards scholarships to Japanese women to study abroad, to Japanese students with visual impairment, and non-Japanese women to study in Japan.     Corporate Sponsorship

    CWAJ partners with corporations in many ways, including sponsoring scholarships, events and service activities. Please fill out this form or contact development@cwaj.org with any questions if you are interested in providing a corporate sponsorship.

  • Japan Foundation Designated Program

    CWAJ has partnered with the Japan Foundation. If you donate by November 15, through the CWAJ Japan Foundation Designated Program, you may be eligible for a tax deduction in Japan.

    Donations through this Program can fund scholarships in the humanities but not the sciences.

    A receipt for your donation less any credit card or bank transfer fees will be issued in December by the Japan Foundation. Donor name may be listed in Japan Foundation publicity materials.
