Golf Handicap Requirement

A handicap is required in order to be a member of the league. You must establish your handicap within 60 days of joining the league and demonstrate average scores below 66 for 9 holes or a handicap lower than 50, so all players can enjoy the round and finish within a reasonable time.

The handicap fee is paid annually. If you have a CA Annual Golf Membership, your handicap fees are included and will be processed at the Hobbit’s Glen Course.  All other handicaps will need to be renewed or established at Fairway Hills.  Please check with the pro-shop on the rates for this year.

If you’re new to the league, please confirm/sign up for a handicap as soon as possible. Each round you play in the league or at other courses can be applied toward establishing your handicap. A minimum of 6 rounds of 9 or 3 rounds of 18 is required to establish a handicap per the World Handicap System (WHS) guidelines. When playing outside of the league, please remember to enter your hole-by-hole scores on the GHIN mobile app or website at www.ghin.com on the day you play.

Note: Prize points will begin accruing once you have registered, paid and have activated your GHIN account.
