Thank you for considering adoption and for opening your heart to a parrot in need. While an approved application allows us to move forward in the process, it does not guarantee an adoption. Every parrot in our care has a unique history, personality, and set of needs, and our responsibility is to ensure the best possible lifelong match for both the bird and the adopter. We often say that the bird has the final say, but ultimately, our priority is the safety, well-being, and long-term happiness of each parrot. For that reason, we reserve the right to decline an adoption if we believe it is not in the bird’s best interest. We truly appreciate your understanding and your commitment to responsible, informed parrot ownership. Next Steps: Once your application is approved, send us a message letting us know you've submitted. We will then require a video walkthrough of your home. This means a self narrated tour of your home, common areas, ie kitchen, living room, enclosed sun room, etc., AND anywhere an animal is kept, to include any/all kennels, crates, beds, cages, enclosures, etc. We will discuss potential best fits an you will then be invited to visit the rescue for a meet-and-greet (or multiple) to see whether a mutual connection can be made with a potential adoptive parrot.
