Professional Research Support Grant Logo
  • The Professional Research Support Grant Scheme is designed to provide individual researchers with short-term, outcome-focused professional research support. This is achieved by allocating a grant to cover the cost of engaging one of our PhD-qualified Senior Research Partners (SRP). These experienced professionals work directly with researchers to help build their research capacity and progress their research activities.

The SRP grant scheme is designed to support capacity building, not to conduct research work directly. Researchers can use the grant to purchase SRP time for activities that strengthen research skills and infrastructure, such as research design, methodology development, ethics applications, data analysis guidance, grant writing, and manuscript preparation. As such, tasks that would typically be undertaken by a Research Assistant are not eligible under this scheme.

By participating, researchers can enhance their track record through structured support and capacity-building initiatives, while also contributing to their research income through the grant received.

Please refer to the Professional Research Support Grant Guidelines for further information.
