The National Kidney Foundation's Council of Nephrology Nurses and Technicians (CNNT) awards the Outstanding Nurse Award annually to a nurse that is currently practicing in nephrology. This nurse's clinical skill and especially their compassion exemplify the kind of healthcare professional that our patients, their families, and our staff recognize as an outstanding role model.
