VENDING REQUIREMENTS
The Silverton Creates! Maker's Market is not a juried event, however, we strive to produce a high caliber show that features quality, handmade arts and crafts items. Acceptable items include, but are not limited to, knitting and crochet, quilted and sewn goods, baked treats, jewelry, painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, pottery, and more. Please no mass-produced items. In alignment with our mission to support Silverton’s artists and creatives, SCD reserves the right to decline participation for vendors offering unsuitable items. Alcohol sales are not permitted.
Vendors are responsible for providing their own tents (one 10x10 tent per vendor space), tables, displays, payment devices, etc. Tent weights are required for all tents (a minimum of 20 pounds per leg). Please note that setup will be on grass and surfaces may be uneven. Electricity and wifi are not available in the park. Small generators are permitted. Space is limited and will be filled on a first come first served basis. Registration is non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organizer.
Vendors may not break down or move out until after the official 6 pm end time. Vendors are responsible for obtaining appropriate food license from health department (if applicable), insurance and State Sales Tax License (see below). Note that Town of Silverton has eliminated its special event vendor permit in 2025 so this is no longer required. Silverton Creative District accepts no responsibility for any property damage or loss. This event will go on rain or shine and mountain weather can be unpredictable, so please come prepared for whatever Mother Nature may dish out. No refunds will be issued for inclement weather.
