The National Kidney Foundation's Council of Nephrology Nurses and Technicians (CNNT) awards the Outstanding Dialysis Technician Award annually to a dialysis technician that is currently practicing in nephrology. This technician's clinical skills, technical skills, and especially their compassionate care, exemplify the kind of professional that our patients, their families, and our staff recognize as an outstanding role model. This technician consistently meets all of the following criteria of exceptional skills, compassionate care, and exemplary service.
