  • Thank you for your interest in shadowing at the Muscle and Joint Clinic. Our clinic is committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care, professional ethics, and operational excellence. To ensure a productive and professional experience, all students must review and agree to the following terms before being granted observation privileges.

  • AGREEMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

    • 1. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT  
      • Students are expected to adhere to the highest standards of professionalism, including appropriate attire, respectful communication, and adherence to clinic policies.
      • Any form of disruptive behavior, unprofessional conduct, or failure to comply with clinic procedures may result in immediate termination of shadowing privileges.

     

    • 2. CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT
      • Students must maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patient information, including but not limited to medical records, treatment plans, and personal health details.
      • In addition to patient confidentiality, students are required to respect the proprietary business practices, operational protocols, and clinical methodologies of the Muscle and Joint Clinic. Disclosure of clinic policies, patient flow strategies, or internal practices outside of the clinic setting is strictly prohibited.
      • Any breach of confidentiality will result in immediate dismissal from the shadowing program and may lead to legal consequences.

     

    • 3. OBSERVATION-ONLY ROLE
      • Students are permitted to observe patient care but may not provide hands-on treatment, medical advice, or interfere with patient interactions.
      • Shadowing does not grant the student authority to participate in direct patient care, and any unauthorized intervention is strictly prohibited.

     

    • 4. RESPECT FOR PATIENTS AND STAFF
      • Students must respect the privacy, dignity, and autonomy of all patients. Patient consent is required before a student is permitted to observe any treatment session.
      • The clinic reserves the right to restrict or deny observation based on patient preference or medical necessity.

     

    • 5. LIABILITY WAIVER
      • The student acknowledges that shadowing is a voluntary activity and agrees to release the Muscle and Joint Clinic, its staff, and practitioners from any liability for injuries, illnesses, or incidents occurring during the observation period.
      • The clinic assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings during the shadowing experience.

     

    • 6. HEALTH & SAFETY COMPLIANCE
      • Students must adhere to all clinic hygiene and safety protocols, including proper hand hygiene, infection control measures, and personal protective equipment requirements (if applicable).
      • If experiencing symptoms of illness, the student must notify the clinic and refrain from attending.

     

    • 7. CANCELLATION & ATTENDANCE POLICY
      • Students must provide at least 24 hours’ notice if unable to attend a scheduled shadowing session.
      • Unapproved absences or repeated cancellations may result in suspension of shadowing privileges

     

    • 8. NON-EMPLOYMENT DISCLAIMER
      • Participation in the shadowing program does not constitute employment, an internship, or any guarantee of future opportunities with the Muscle and Joint Clinic.

     

    • 9. TERMINATION OF PRIVILEGES
      • The clinic reserves the right to terminate student observation privileges at any time for violations of this agreement or for operational reasons deemed necessary by clinic management.

     

    • STUDENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & SIGNATURE
      • By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to abide by the above terms and conditions. I understand the importance of professionalism, patient confidentiality, and clinic operational confidentiality, and I will uphold these standards during my time at the Muscle and Joint Clinic.
