Students completing the scholarship application must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher. Applicants must be a African American High School female senior, New Jersey resident of either Bergen or Passaic County, not related to a member of NCBW Bergen/Passaic, admitted as a full-time matriculated student at an accredited college or university. All sections must be completed as marked required (*). (Write N/A if it doesn't apply to you). Application must be submitted by 11:59pm April 23, 2026.

- In order to be considered for a NCBW Scholarship, you understand that the following conditions must be met:
  1. I must be a New Jersey resident in either Bergen or Passaic County.
  2. I must not be related to a member of NCBW Bergen / Passaic
  3. I must be a woman of African-American heritage.
  4. I must be admitted or enrolled as a full-time matriculated student at an accredited college or university.
  5. I must use the scholarship funds for my college related expenses at an approved university or college.
  6. If awarded a multi-year scholarship, I must maintain a 3.0 GPA. I must submit my grades at the end of each academic year as long as I am receiving a multi-year scholarship.
  7. I must agree to be interviewed by the scholarship committee when requested.
  8. I understand that failure to comply with this agreement will result in my award being forfeited and returned to NCBW Bergen Passaic.
