This year we are planning on going to Camp Baldwin (Link). The Camp is located on the east side of Mt. Hood. The camp features one of the only Scout level horse programs in the United States. Camp is Sunday, July 27th – Saturday, August 2nd.

Costs:

Scouts Summer Camp = $625.00
Adults Summer Camp = $350.00

• $300.00 1st Payment Due March 15th, 2025
• $325.00 2nd Payment Due April 15th, 2025

It would be helpful to the Troop if you would be willing to make your payment as soon as you are invoiced by Treasurer@Troop150.org. Thank you in advance!

(Keep in mind that the Troop charges more than just the direct cost of camp in order to cover t-shirts, Wednesday night dinner party, snacks/deserts, travel costs, etc...). 

Addtionally, the Troop is planning an two-three night road trip as our pre trip!  We will tour the Columbia Gorge and end up at Camp Sunday. Keep in mind that all activities on the pre-trip are required activities and there will not be options to stay in camp either day. You must attend Camp to attend Pre-Trip.

• $150.00 Per Person Estimated cost for the Pre-Trip. This is subject to change depending on the number of nights we settle on for the trip.

After your form is submitted you will receive an email from treasurer@Troop150.org with your invoice or statement.

Saturday Clean Up - All Troop 150 Scouts and Adults are needed for cleanup and putting equipment away unless excused by your Scoutmaster.

All participants need a BSA heath form (Part A, B., and C):

• ADULT AND SCOUT FORM MUST BE SIGNED BY A DOCTOR
• FORMS MUST BE TURNED IN NO LATER THAN JULY 31st, 2024
• ALL SCOUTS AND ADULTS USE THE MEDICAL FORM

Adult Leadership Needs at Summer Camp and Pre Trip:

• Drivers & Adult leaders for Pre-trip 
• Drivers to bring two trailers to camp
• Drivers for 45 scouts home from Camp
• Several Adult leaders willing to spend the week with us at Summer Camp - ideally 2 adults per patrol most nights. With trips this far, it is common for drivers to camp to stay for a few nights and then have drivers home start arriving Wed./Thurs./Fri.

Notice to adults:  We want your participation! We also do not want to overwhelm the scouts with lots of adults.  We are looking for adults that can stay the entire week.  Adults that can stay the entire week will get prioritized.  We may max out with adults between 8-10 per night.
