  • About this Movement Opportunity

    Alpha is a resource churches use to create a space and culture where people are excited to invite their friends into a conversation about Jesus. Our church has been running the Alpha Course, and we have seen our friends and family members come to know and accept Jesus as their Saviour.

    If you have a willing heart to serve in this ministry of the Gospel, we welcome you to attend an Alpha Training for Facilitators and Helpers. We always have a role for you in the Alpha course. Sign up and join us for the training on the 6 April from 11am – 3pm (Sunday) to be a
    Group facilitator, to facilitate and guide participants in exploring questions about the Christian faith through the course material. This training helps you to participate in the coming 8 weeks course from 12April - 31 May. Eash week is counted as one fulfillment of a movement opportunity.

     

    Date & Venue

    Saturdays, 2:00pm - 4:00pm, 20 Sep - 8 Nov 2025
    (Please avail yourself to at least 4 Saturdays of the Alpha Course to complete this movement. There will be a compulsory training session, details be released at later date.)

    Participants are required to attend a compulsory training session, details will be released at a later date.

    Other requirements include:

    - has served as an Alpha Helper

    - empathetic and non-judgemental

    - good listener

    - experience in leading group discussions is beneficial

    Due to capacity limitations for each movement opportunity, we may need to adjust placements.

    If your preferred date / slot is filled, we will contact you shortly with alternative opportunities for your consideration.
