War for the Hollows
  • War for the Hollows

Level Up Gaming: Pensacola, Florida - May 24-25
  • Descend into the depths of a dying world

Beneath the rusted bones of a dying world, two ancient Forges stir to life — Forge Polix and Forge Castir — locked in a bitter war for dominance over the labyrinthine depths of the Hollows.

Forge Polix, a labyrinth of corrupted ingenuity, melds flesh, machine, and forbidden arcane rites into unnatural weapons of war, believing only through sacrificial innovation can the Omnissiah’s true will be unveiled. Their rivals, Forge Castir, revere brutal efficiency and unrelenting production, churning out crude, relentless war machines with a callous disregard for the lives ground beneath their industry.

This civil schism draws the eyes of greater powers. Loyalists and Traitors alike recognize that controlling the Hollows — and the vast industrial power of its Forges — could shift the tide of the war. Each side seeks to sway the Forges to their cause, promising dominion, salvation, or annihilation. Yet the truth is darker still: the Hollows do not serve. They consume.

    • No named characters but you may select a warlord trait from a non-Primarch named character normally available to your faction.
    • Warlords do not cost points and do not occupy a force organization chart. This includes Knights but excludes any Titans.
    • Armies may take 0-1 Magos Dominus or Magos Dominus on Abeyant for free, which does not occupy an army slot. This may be upgraded to an Archmagos Prime for 100 points. This model counts as a sworn brother. This is to incentivize conversions and strange models, and will be influenced by scenario rules.
    • Contemptor Dreadnoughts lose the Dreadnought Talon special rule but it may be purchased as a squad upgrade for 40 points per model.
    • A primary detachment counts as having an Archmagos Dominus, Force Commander, Legate Marshal, or Master of the Legion for the purposes of selecting a detachment's high technoarcana, provenances, cohort doctrine, or rite of war. This does not grant extra bonuses, rites of wars, or technoarcana.
    • Imperialis Militia forces may select an additional provenance of war if they take a Force Commander.
    • Hereticus Astartes and Blackshields may select Rites of War normally available to Legiones Astartes.
    • Armies are not pledged to Traitor or Loyalist; they are instead pledged to either Forge Castir or Forge Polix. Units replace all bonuses, such as hatred (Traitors), with the appropriate opposing forge.
    • Unique wargear and upgrades will be available to each army. Forge Castir is committed to technological innovations and mechanical horror. Forge Polix combines technomancy with esoteric sorcery.
    • The Titan Maniple force organization chart may be taken. This force organization chart is not restricted by the 25% cap on Lords of War. Secutarii squads gain the Line sub-type when taken this way
