For the safety of our team, we are a nut-free facility due to a staff member with a severe nut allergy. If you provide snacks for your pet during their stay, they must be in the original packaging and completely nut-free. However, pet food can be pre-portioned into baggies and does not need to remain in the original bag. Behaviour & Preferences
We strive to maintain a boarding routine for your dog that is as close to their home routine as possible. Each day begins with breakfast, followed by outdoor potty time. We take dogs outside at least every 2 hours for around 20 minutes for one on one time with our staff, or more often if they show signs of needing to go out. In the early afternoon, we provide puzzle feeders for mental stimulation, and supper is served around 5:00 PM, allowing plenty of time for potty breaks before settling in for the night. Quiet time is observed between 9:00 PM and 11:30 PM, and again from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM, offering a peaceful environment for your animals to rest and fully unwind. Additionally, we have full 24-hour surveillance coverage, ensuring that all animals in our care are continuously monitored, even during shift changes, for their safety and well-being.

Pricing and Pick-Up Times
Pricing

Dogs:

$47.50 per night + GST for the first dog
$33.25 per night + GST for each additional dog
(Payment is due at the time of pick-up for all dogs.)

Cats:

$35.00 per night + GST for the first cat
$21.00 per night + GST for each additional cat
(Payment is due at the time of pick-up for all cats.)

Birds, Reptiles, and Fish:

$25.00 per night + GST

Scheduled Drop-off and Pick-up Times

Drop-off Times:

1:00 PM and 2:00 PM (7 days a week)

Pick-up Times:

10:00 AM and 12:00 PM (7 days a week)

Early Drop Off / Late Pick Up Fees

Early Drop Off: If morning drop off is required between 8:00am-1:00pm, an additional fee of $25.00 will apply.

Late Pick Up: If pick up is required between 12:00pm – 4:00pm, an additional fee of $25.00 will apply.

Deposit Policy: A deposit is required to secure your pet’s stay. For stays under 3 nights, a deposit of 1 night is required. For stays of 3 or more nights, a deposit of 2 nights is required. Deposits are non-refundable. A confirmation email with deposit instructions will be sent to you. Once your deposit is received, your spot is secured.

Veterinary Costs & Emergency Care: If my dog requires emergency veterinary care, I authorize Spike & Friends Inc. to seek treatment and agree to cover any related costs. I understand that the team will attempt to contact me before seeking care, but if I cannot be reached, I authorize emergency treatment as needed.
