Maccabee Task Force Fellowship
September 1, 2025 – September 1, 2026 | $1000 Stipend (Paid $500 per semester, based on performance)
The Maccabee Task Force Fellows are an elite cohort of student leaders at top universities whose primary responsibilities include combatting BDS, antisemitism, and anti-Israel sentiments on campus while building coalitions with key student communities.
MTF Fellows will work with their Hillel staff and MTF regional director to carry out a range of duties, which include:
MTF Fellow Responsibilities:
- Lead their campus’ MTF Israel Trip.
- Recruit students for the MTF Israel Trip - Design and implement a recruitment strategy. Identify and cultivate new connections with potential trip candidates. Assist with the interviewing and selection process.
- Guide and support trip participants during and after the trip.
- Foster ongoing relationships and organize post-trip engagement events with trip attendees and their communities.
- Develop and execute pro-Israel programming on campus in collaboration with MTF staff and Hillel.
- Provide weekly campus updates.
- Attend and actively participate in all mandatory meetings and training sessions.
Mandatory Sessions:
- Attend 5 out of 6 national mandatory training sessions.
- Participate in monthly Zoom check-ins with your regional director.
- Attend your campus MTF Israel trip.
Qualifications
- Directly or indirectly involved in student government.
- Professional, reliable, and sociable.
- Comfortable with public speaking and student engagement about Israel.
- Willing to strategize and lead pro-Israel efforts on campus.
Eligibility
- Only 2 Fellows per campus will be selected for the 2025-2026 cycle.
- Current Fellows with at least two semesters remaining after August 2025 are eligible to reapply.
