    Details and Donor Form
  • Thank you for your interest in funding a Visionary Scholarship! The Lone Star Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization established to provide scholarships and leadership development opportunities to young women across Texas.

Miss Texas and Miss Texas' Teen delegates are eligible to apply for additional scholarships (before the official competition and on-stage events take place) based on community service, field of study, accomplishments, career aspirations and more. These scholarships are provided by individuals, groups or businesses who donate a $500+ scholarship. For example, a Visionary Scholarship in Law may be awarded by one attorney, a group of attorneys or a law firm who wants to promote the field of law and reward one or more contestants who have selected that field of study. Supporters may personalize their donation in honor of someone, a field of study, a particular area of interest, or even come up with their own category. Your scholarship gift is personal and specific. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by IRS regulations (Tax ID 45-4897571).

Visionary Scholarship details must be received by May 1, 2025 in order for delegates to have time to complete their application by June 1, 2025. The Visionary Scholarship team will create and email a link to your Visionary Scholarship application for approval before it is made available to delegates. If you prefer to select the award winner(s) yourself then you may anticipate receiving a PDF copy of the applications during the first week of June, along with a link to submit your recipients. Donors are invited to present their award during the Visionary Arrival Brunch on Sunday, June 22, 2025.
