The LNC Support Brigade is an Operational Support Brigade, that provides support to firefighting operations.
The Brigade has sub units for each functional area, some of which have specific entry qualification requirements.
LNC Support currently consists of the following units,
- Catering
- Communications
- Logistics
- Cat 6 (Min BF qualified and HR licence)
- RAFT (Min AF qualified)
The LNC Support Brigade is seeking additional members, who are no longer interested in being operational firefighters, as well as those joining the RFS who are interested in operational support roles.
Members of LNC Support can be involved in one or more unit functions of their choosing. There is no pressure for members to assist with all functions.
