Application and Disclosure Information

Live6 Alliance and URGE Development are proud to partner to provide home repair improvement grants to qualified owner-occupied households in the Garden Homes Community in northwest Detroit. To be considered eligible for our home repair program, your home must be located within the following boundaries: Eight Mile Road (north), Pembroke Avenue (south), Meyers (west), and Livernois Avenue (east).

Additionally, you will be required to provide the following documentation in order to qualify as eligible for this program:

Proof of Ownership (a copy of your deed or ownership)
Proof of Occupancy (utility bill, mortgage statement etc.)
Proof of Property Tax Compliance (proof of recent payment or payment plan)
Home Owners Insurance
Photos detailing requested repair needs
Photo of the front of your home with address visible
Proof of Power of Attorney (if applicable)

This project exclusively focuses on exterior home repairs which includes: windows, roofs, porches, gutters, and exterior doors. Repairs for interior repairs, HVAC, electrical and plumbing updates, or interior renovations (such as kitchens, bathrooms, drywall, and flooring) are not included in this initiative.

This program is only available to homeowners; tenant-occupied homes are not eligible.

This is a one-time project, with all repairs expected to be completed within the program timeline.
