Why are you interested in becoming a volunteer?*
Volunteers are able to perform duties outside of what library staff perform for their job duties. To simplify this we have made a partial list of what volunteers can do at the library. Please select assignments you are interested in.

Cleaning Legos and assorted small circulated itemsOrganizing suppliesProgram greeter/direct patrons around buildingStand in museum and answer questionsDisplay ads around townLeave brochures in approved locationsHelp with large events operations (ex. catering, handing out water)Help with collaborative or outside group events (ex Artworks, Pumpkinfest etc)Organizing supplies in basementHelping to collect donationsPrepare items to be used for programs

If you are interested in volunteering in the archives this is a separate volunteering process, please contact our archivist at archivist@westath.org.If you have an idea for a program you would like to run, this needs to be approved by our Outreach Librarian or Head of Department and have a performance agreement signed.
