The Farris Charitable Scholarship Fund
“We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors; we borrow it from our Children.” – Chief Seattle
At Cornerstone Learning Hub, we have confidence in the power of diversity and the importance of providing equitable opportunities for students of all backgrounds. The Farris Charitable Scholarships were established and are being funded by September Farris, a member of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes and entrepreneur, who believes that diversity enriches education and the world. September successfully ran Sundance Consulting, Inc., an environmental consulting company, and understands the value of hands-on, project-based learning in preparing students for the future. She established this scholarship to ensure that all children, regardless of their background or financial situation, have access to innovative, real-world learning experiences that will help them succeed in school and beyond.
