  • TAMICE (the “Company”) will provide the student referenced above (the “Student”) transportation services to and from The Bronx High School of Science or the High School of American Studies (each, a “School”) from September 2025 to June 2026, academic school year. The Company and the parent/guardian (the “Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement:

    1. PRICING. The full price of the service for the September 2025 to June 2026 school year is $3,648 per student, with a 10% sibling discount(s) to the additional child(ren) residing under the same household. The Company will offer discounted early bird pricing of $3,398 to Clients that sign up during our early bird period. The Client is responsible for submitting the application, contract, and payment before each deadline. Failure to make the payment will void the service and the price offered at the time of agreement. There will be a $50 fee for any returned checks. Company has the right to refuse Client’s applications at its sole discretion.

The installment plan price is $4,298. Non-refundable deposit of $1,500 is needed at the time of submitting the application. The Client is responsible for paying eight (8) divided payments starting from May to December 2025. If the Client signs up after May, monthly charges will be calculated based on the signup date, and the client must complete the last payment by December 2025. If the Client fails to pay the monthly payment, the Client’s transportation will be suspended after 5 days of a grace period. After 5 days of a grace period, 10% of the monthly payment will be assessed to reinstate the ridership.

    2. REFUND. Transportation charges are non-refundable. Once the Client signs the contract, the Company reserves a seat for one primary pick-up in the morning and one drop-off after regular dismissal (3:05 PM) for the entire year. Therefore, the cancellation will not be accepted for any reason, with the only exception being school closures due to COVID, natural disasters, or other force majeure situationsin which the refund policy is as follows: (If you paid with credit card, please note 3% Processing Fee is non-refundable),

    a. Full School Year Closures: Should the NYC DOE announces school closures prior to the first day of school:

    i. Full credit refund for future use

ii. Full refund minus the non-refundable amount of $500.

    b. Partial School Closures: First THIRTY (30) cumulative school closures will not be refunded. Pro-rated refunds begin from the 31st day of NYC DOE mandated school closure.

    3. SERVICES. This contract is an agreement that the Company will provide transportation service for one primary pick up in the morning and one drop off after the regular dismissal (3:05 PM). Please note that other features such as real-time GPS, SMS, and late after-school buses are our courtesy services. The company is not liable for any monetary compensation for malfunction or disruption of any of these courtesy services.

    a. The Company reserves the right to suspend operations due to circumstances related, but not limited to weather, road condition, and temporary school closure. No refund will be issued due to the temporary suspension.

    b. The Company will create a bus route and pick-up times based on the information provided by the Client. The Company will only reach out to the contact information provided in the application. The Client is responsible for providing accurate information. The Company will not be responsible for incorrect bus routes, pick-up times, or any errors resulting from incorrect information provided by the Client to the Company.

Routes are finalized in early August. Any student with an address change after August 1st might not be guaranteed a bus stop close to the student’s new address. It’s very important to notify the Tamice of a potential change of address when signing up.

    c. Final pick-up time and location may change from the initial information provided to the Client. The Company will only alter the information in an effort to accommodate the majority of students in schools. The Company is responsible for notifying the Client through the contact information provided in the application of any changes in the bus stop, pick-up time, traffic, weather, and unforeseen circumstances.

    d. The Client is responsible for ensuring the students arrive at the designated bus stop at least 5 minutes prior to their scheduled pick-up time to prevent any delays. To maintain the bus schedules, drivers will not to wait beyond scheduled pick-up times. Please note that the GPS tracking system is for guidance purposes and should not be used to determine what time students should be at the bus stop. Students should always be at the bus stop at the designated time given by the Company unless advised otherwise by the Company. The Company will not be responsible for picking up the students after the pick-up time. The Company will not be responsible for any cost, reimbursements, or refunds when a student misses his/her bus.

    e. The Company is not responsible for lost items or items left on the buses.

    f. For safety, pick-up and drop-off locations may alter due to street access issues and road blockage at the driver’s discretion.

    g. The Company reserves the right to revoke transportation privileges due to the student’s misconduct including misbehavior to the driver or other students, vehicle vandalism, and/or misusing or lending the bus pass. No refund will be issued for suspension or termination of the application resulting from the student’s behavior.

    h. Students will be issued a bus ID upon contract. Students are required to scan the Company issued bus pass upon boarding. The lost bus pass will be replaced by the Company with a $30.00 replacement fee. Students must not lend or borrow another student's bus ID. Doing so will result in immediate termination of the contract without refunds.

    i. Vandalizing the vehicle is prohibited. If the vehicle is damaged due to a student’s intentional vandalism, the student’s ride privilege will be terminated and the client will be financially responsible for any costs incurred from recovering the damages.

    j. If the Client needs a dual pick-up location on two different routes, the Company will make a reasonable effort to accommodate the Client if an empty seat is available. However, many buses are filled quickly. If the client wishes to guarantee two seats on two different routes, an additional charge will incur.

    k. The Company is not responsible if the Client or students move to a different location where service is not available. In such cases, Students will be offered the nearest stop with a bus with extra seating. There will be no refunds for refusing this new stop due to a change of address during the school year.

    l. In very few cases where the two Schools may have different schedules, and during the Regents week, the Company may provide consolidated routes and stops.
